OUR STORY

Welcome to Esther Candle Co! I’m Sandy, creator and owner, and this is our story! 

 

Have you ever thought of a career path, business idea, or life move that fired you up and got

your heart moving but you IMMEDIATELY shut it down for any number of reasons? Same.

That’s how I spent majority of 2021 into 2022 when it came to my “crazy candle idea” until God

spoke to my soul, “No more waiting. No more doubt. For such a time as this. Trust me.”

 

The story of Esther in the Bible became more real to me than ever before. The story wasn’t about Esther or any of God’s people and what they could do or offer. It was about God setting up a perfect time and providing the faith to walk out hard or scary things all for his glory. This story seemed needed in a world where being a Christian sounds evil to many and standing for truth and the light of Jesus is no longer looked at as just unpopular but beginning to be twisted as wrong.

God clearly appointed this time to shine Jesus as boldly and loudly as we can. In all his creativity and uniqueness he has given us the spark to do this through candles! 

 

Immediately when God to speaks me move but where to and how? We prayed about how we would execute this and making the quality, clean burning candles was the easy party but how to be intentional with the light of Jesus was the interesting part. Our hope was to provide truth and hope while serving and helping others. Scripture says to ask in his name and it will be given and God showed up with clarity. 

 

The way we share truth and hope about Jesus is through loudly proclaiming him on our site, social pages, and through scripture on every candle! 

 

How we desire to help and serve others is through donating a portion of our profit from every candle to our local Pregnancy Help Center in Lake Jackson, TX. To learn more about the Pregnancy Help Center and to donate click here to be on mission with them as well! 

 

Lastly, we wanted prayer to be our passion. Every person who interacts with Esther Candle Co. can send in their prayer requests to prayersforesther@gmail.com and I will have the joy of praying for people in need every week!
